Congratulations to this years handicap tournament champions 'birthday boy' Geoff Barnes (main) and young rising star Jared London (plate). Great rallies and some tense moments viewed by a thoroughly entertained and appreciative gallery at HQ last night. There were 52 entries in a great turnout again! Thanks to Pete Tatlow for all the hard work of organising and well done to all who entered! Thanks also to hostess with the mostess Clare and a wonderful spread yet again!

Volunteers - Your club needs you!
We are committed to offering more opportunities for beginners
ands those wanting to play racketball.
It is proposed to offer a monthly beginners afternoon - perhaps a Saturday.
The club will be open for use at a nominal charge per person. This will
be an ideal chance for those less confident players to meet and play
others of a similar standard.
Similarly racketball is growing in popularity and in the same way as
a weekend beginners afternoon it is suggested a monthly racketball event
be held - run along the same lines as club night/beginners afternoon.
If anyone is willing to volunteer to run any of the above (or has any
other ideas!!) please contact the club on elliott.moore1@btinternet.com

club night!
For any prospective new member your first club night is free and with
no obligation - all you need is sports kit as we can even provide rackets
and balls.
Come down any Friday night from 1900 and we can show you round the club
and get you on Court - all for nothing! What have you got to lose? If
you want more information contact us via email elliott.moore1@btinternet.com
and we can even arrange to meet you at the club on the Friday night.
If that doesn't convince you take out a temporary membership - only
35 pounds for 3 months giving you full access to all the club facilites,
including our on line court booking facility.
